DUE SOUTH, a TV Series running for 2 years in the United States and Canada, picked up its share of devoted fans until this day in the Canada, south of the border and as far away as the UK and Australia.
The TV series follows the exploits of RCMP Constable Benton Fraser (played by Canadian born actor Paul Gross), a Canadian Mountie and his side-kick Police Detective Ray Vecchio . Brought together in Chicago by the mysterious death of Fraser's father, these unlikely buddies must find common ground amidst overwhelming differences. Transplanted form the far north to consular duties in the Windy City, Fraser patrols the mean streets of Chicago armed only with a rigid moral code and his deaf, lip-reading wolf, Diefenbaker.
